Australia's Glenn Maxwell and India's Rohit Sharma hold the joint record for the most centuries in T20I cricket, with each of them having scored five centuries in this format.

Rohit Sharma achieved this milestone since making his T20I debut against England during a T20 World Cup match in Durban in 2007. His five centuries in T20I cricket highlight his prowess in the shortest format of the game.

On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell, a flamboyant right-handed batsman, also shares the distinction of five centuries in T20I cricket. He reached this milestone with a stunning century during the second T20I of West Indies' tour of Australia at Adelaide Oval in 2024.

Following closely behind is India's Suryakumar Yadav, who ranks second with four centuries in T20I cricket.

His first T20I century came during Australia's tour of Sri Lanka in 2016 at Pallekele. Opening the batting, Maxwell played a scintillating innings, scoring an unbeaten 145 off just 65 balls. This innings was characterized by 14 fours and nine sixes, showcasing his aggressive batting style.

Maxwell continued his century-scoring spree with his second T20I hundred (103*) against England in Hobart in 2018. Rohit Sharma's record-breaking fifth T20I century came in January 2024 during the final game of a three-match series against Afghanistan at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
