Entering the crucial third and final session, O'Connor faced an uphill battle to overturn Wilson's lead. Despite a promising start in the 17th frame, Wilson's exceptional long-range potting ability allowed him to snatch crucial frames from O'Connor's grasp. With each frame, Wilson extended his lead, ultimately sealing a commanding 13-6 victory over O'Connor.
