He recounts memorable moments, including his first professional trophy. With interest from top clubs like Saint-Étienne, Feyenoord, and Real Valladolid, Agyemang discusses his readiness for a European career.
FIRST TROPHY IN WAC SHIRT
Lifting the OFB Cup, also known as the Austrian Cup, couldn't have come at a better time for a young player and his burgeoning career.
The 21-year-old played a pivotal role in Wolfsberger AC's first domestic trophy in over a decade, securing qualification for the 2025/26 preliminary phase of the UEFA Europa League.
"I was just waiting for the final whistle," he said with a smile.
"It means a lot to my career, and I seriously think we deserve it. Sometimes, it's about luck and discipline on the field, and we had it in our favor as a team," he told SportsBoom.com
The young player expressed gratitude to coach Dietmar Kuhbauer for the confidence and trust placed in him, as well as his colleagues and the entire Wolfsberger AC team.
"It's been a long time coming, with a lot of hard work and dedication. It feels sweet to win the title and qualify for Europe," he added.
He also looks forward to the European experience, saying, "I'm equally excited that we've qualified for Europe next season. It won't be easy, but we'll get to test our quality against some of the best clubs in Europe – an experience I'm already looking forward to."
EUROPEAN CLUBS SHOW INTEREST IN AGYEMANG
With Wolfsberger AC qualifying for a European campaign, Ofori Agyemang has attracted interest from several European clubs.
According to close sources to SportsBoom.com, Saint-Étienne from France, Feyenoord from the Netherlands, and Real Valladolid from La Liga are among the clubs linked with the talented midfielder.
Reports also suggest Italian clubs are interested in Agyemang, indicating a potentially busy transfer window for the Ghanaian prodigy.
Expectations are that the Austrian Bundesliga club will mount a resistance to retain Agyemang, who is yet to be offered a senior contract with the first team.
Agyemang has made a significant impact this season, with 25 appearances, 3 goals, and 5 assists across all competitions for Wolfsberger AC.
He is the club's second-highest assist provider, tied with Thierno Ballo (5 assists) and just behind Dejan Zukic (7 assists).
With European clubs showing interest, Agyemang will be one of the key players to watch in the summer transfer window.
NO PRESSURE, FULLY FOCUSED
Agyemang remains determined to reach his potential under manager Dietmar Kuhbauer, who has been impressed by the Ghanaian's talent.
"I don't feel under pressure," Agyemang said.
"It's normal in football. I just need to stay focused, despite the compliments. I'm young, and there's no room for complacency. I've just gotten into the system here, and it will take something special to reach my desired level," he stressed.
