Arsenal are ready to ignite a £35million transfer war for Norwegian livewire Jens Petter Hauge, but the Gunners are far from alone in the race, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

Gunners’ boss Mikel Arteta is believed to be captivated by the electric winger and wants him as the next piece in his title-chasing machine.

Hauge has been a revelation in this season’s UEFA Champions League, terrorising defenders with fearless flair and ruthless finishing, alerting a queue of suitors across England and Europe.

Premier League giants Manchester City and Manchester United are both monitoring the situation, while Everton, Crystal Palace and Leeds United have also previously expressed strong interest.

And it’s not just England watching. European heavyweights, including his former club AC Milan, have even discussed a stunning return for the Norwegian star.

Despite being under contract until 2028, Bodø/Glimt are understood to be willing to cash in if the price is right, with a fee in the region of £30-40million now being touted.

Star Ready For Big Move

Hauge’s rise has been relentless.

A Norway international with 13 caps, he progressed through every youth level before making his senior debut aged just 20 in 2020.

Spells with AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt followed, but it is back in Norway where he has exploded into a genuine star.

The 26-year-old has scored 27 goals in 100 appearances for Bodø/Glimt, including standout strikes against Tottenham Hotspur in last season’s Champions League, moments that proved he belongs on the biggest stage.

Now, insiders say Hauge is desperate to make the next step. The Premier League is his dream, and the chance to test himself weekly against the world’s best has him itching for a move.

Arsenal believe they can win the race, especially if they seal the title this term, but with Europe’s elite circling and with Premier League rivals also on alert, this saga is set to explode.
