Exclusive: Aberdeen Plot Reunion with Palestinian Forward Oday Dabbagh
Sporting Charleroi striker Oday Dabbagh could make a return to Aberdeen, with the club exploring the chance for a second spell. The Palestinian hitman impressed fans in Scotland last season, scoring crucial goals and helping them secure Europa League qualification. Other clubs like Zamalek and Wydad Casablanca are also interested, but a move back to Scotland seems likely. No bids have been made yet, but a decision is expected soon.

Sporting Charleroi's hitman Oday Dabbagh is open to a move back to Scotland, with exclusive discussions revealing Aberdeen will explore the chance to have the man for a second spell.
The striker spent the second part of last season on loan at Pittoderie, playing 16 games and chipping in with four goals and an assist.
A large section of the club's fan base were sad to see him go after the club failed to exercise the buy option inserted into the clause which brought him, but this would be sweet music to the ears for them.
Oday endeared himself to the Reds faithfuls with some sensational displays in the Scottish Cup last season, scoring twice against Queen's Park in the quarterfinals as well as a late winner to put Hearts to the sword in the semifinal 2-1 victory.
With their final victory over Celtic guaranteeing Europa League qualification football, the 26-year-old could become the second Palestinian to feature in the competition after Moustafa Zeidan.
RETURN TO SCOTLAND ON THE CARDS
Oday enjoyed an extended break at the end of last season and even went on international duty with Palestine, playing in World Cup qualification games versus Oman and Palestine.
Having now returned to pre-season games with Charleroi, it is expected a decision will be made by the club in no time as regards his future for next term.
However, seasoned Middle East journalist and compatriot Uri Levy has told SportsBoom another stint in Scotland would be one that suits all parties, and a development which the player will welcome.
"There's a big chance he can move between sides again. He's a fantastic player, one I've followed since his days in Jerusalem and was great for them last season", Uri Levy told SportsBoom.com from Tel Aviv.
"The details are still there, and his team in Belgium are always willing to listen to the offers."
"I'm certain this is something the lad will be looking at, because he has already created his own bit of history there."
OTHER SUITORS
Zamalek and Wydad Casablanca have as well been credited with different levels of interests on the striker lately, with Zamalek's Sporting Director John Edward said to have recently had a direct communication with the player.
But it remains to be seen if the Palestine international would consider a move to Africa having not played there before.
Oday became the first home-grown Palestinian player to feature in a major European division when he first moved to the Portuguese Primeira Liga to join Arouca in 2021
While the links remain, there are no reports of any bids from interested sides yet, or Charleroi's confirmation about the future of their player as at the time of this report.

Since he broke loose from the shackles of long hours huddled up in a hot classroom learning Mandarin Chinese and Pinyin at the famous Confucius Institute, UNIZIK, Emmanuel Chinaza has embraced sports and football in particular, and it helped that he grew up in the football-crazy city of Anambra.
