Exclusive: Man City, Chelsea and PSG in Transfer Battle for AC Milan Wonderkid Francesco Camarda

17-year-old AC Milan striker Francesco Camarda is catching the attention of top clubs like Manchester City, Chelsea, and PSG. Despite Milan's reluctance to let him go, Premier League and French giants are keen on signing the young talent before Real Madrid joins the race. Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris St Germain are ready to slug it out for Francesco Camarda if the teenage striking sensation continues to impress for AC Milan, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

Aged 17, Camarda became the talk of Serie A nearly two years ago when he made his debut for the Rossoneri against Fiorentina despite requiring a special exemption to take part.

That excitement surrounding the centre-forward continued to grow when, after being loaned to Lecce to gain valuable experience, he became the youngest player to score for the Puglians during a game against Bologna last month.

Camarda now counts Zlatan Ibrahimovic among his army of admirers and, with many observers already describing him as an Italian legend in the making, the Premier League giants and their rivals from France are all monitoring his development closely.

Although Milan, now managed by former Juventus chief Massimilano Allegri, have no intention of parting company with one of their hottest properties, both City and The Blues believe the lure of Premier League football could prove impossible for Camarda to resist.

FINANCIAL CLOUT

PSG, meanwhile, also possess the financial clout to test Milan’s resolve to retain Camarda’s services when he eventually returns from the Stadio via del Mare.

Crucially, all three are keen to make a decision to Camarda before Real Madrid enter the race for his services, knowing full well that interest from the Spanish giants would drive up the price and potentially make him unobtainable.

Camarda has so far made nine appearances for Lecce, who have eased their relegation fears by going three games unbeaten. Camarda started against his parent club before netting during that 2-2 draw with Bologna.

Milan extended his contract until 2028 before dispatching him to the southerners. Lecce inserted an option to buy into that deal, while officials at the San Siro negotiated a buy back clause. But those have not dissuaded some of Europe’s wealthiest names from adding Camarda’s name to their watch lists.
