Exclusive: Casemiro Linked with Al-Nassr Move Amid Man Utd Exit
Cristiano Ronaldo's former teammate Casemiro is being pursued by Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian midfielder is expected to leave Manchester United and could join Ronaldo in a lucrative move. MLS clubs are also interested in the Champions League winner, who could bring his experience to help Al Nassr win their first Saudi Pro League.

Cristiano Ronaldo could be reunited with former Manchester United and Real Madrid team mate Casemiro this summer, SportsBoom understands.
Less than a week after revealing he will quit Old Trafford at the end of the season, the Brazilian midfield maestro is wanted by Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabia club, Al Nassr.
Casemiro, 34 next month, is expected to head back abroad once his Red Devils' contract expires at the end of the season.
Our sources have been told the Brazilian would have to take a drop in wages, thought to be worth £350,000 a week at Old Trafford, to remain in the Premier League.
But Casemiro, who is wanted by numerous suitors overseas, doesn’t want to hang up his boots. And he is encouraged by the longevity of Ronaldo still banging in the goals for club and Portugal at the age of 40.
More importantly there is mega money to be made in Saudi where Ronaldo reputedly is on an eye-watering contract of £488,000 a day!
As revealed by SportBoom last week, MLS clubs are also interested in the multi-time Champions League winner.
It is understood the player's representatives have already held initial talks with potential destinations in America and Saudi.
Old Friends
Casemiro and Ronaldo played just a season together with United, the former providing the assist for the latter to score his 700th club goal in a win at Everton, before Ronaldo moved to the Middle East after his acrimonious departure from the Theatre of Dreams.
However, they spent five years as team mates with Los Blancos, sharing in three Champions League triumphs and lifting other major domestic prizes.
Despite Ronaldo’s goal and assists contributions Al Nassr are chasing league leaders Al-Hilal this term.
Indeed, Al-Hilal have also been alerted by Casemiro’s availability. They already have three Brazilians in their squad — forwards Leonardo, Cesar and Malcom.
But Al-Nassr are desperate to win a first ever Saudi Pro League, finishing second twice and third once since Ronaldo’s arrival.
So, Casemiro’s experience would be a major boost to their chances. And there’s even a chance another Manchester United favourite, Bruno Fernandes, could be heading to Al-Nassr as well.
