Our sources have learnt that scouts from the English heavyweights have been watching the 18-year-old attacker as his reputation continues to soar in Germany’s youth ranks.
This season the attacking midfielder has scored seven goals in 30 appearances for the German giants and is now widely-regarded as a real star in the making.
Bayern are already moving to protect their prized asset and are eager to agree an improved deal with Karl, who is currently contracted to the reigning Bundesliga champions until 2029, meaning any club hoping to lure him away would likely need to stump up a fee in the region of £20million.
