Burnley and Bournemouth have enquired about signing Gambian wonderkid Adama Bojang, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
Our sources have learnt the highly-coveted 21-year-old Reims forward is keen for a move to the Premier League.
And now the transfer window has reopened, Bojang is keen to push through a move to the English top-flight.
Reims were relegated to the second tier of the French Division after a season to forget, with their best players expected to leave this summer.
Bojang has previously been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, but none of the trio of Premier League clubs ever made an official bid for the player.
But the Clarets and Cherries are both now believed to be keen to table bids ahead of next season, with the player value at a bargain £2 million.
Bojang was sent out on loan to Swiss record champions Grasshopper Club Zurich to get some much-needed first-team football under his belt last season.
He played 25 games in the Swiss Super League and scored six goals in a successful spell.
HAPPY TO SELL
SportsBoom understands French side Reims are happy to sell the youngster providing the price is right.
He has played just nine games for Reims across two seasons and is deemed surplus to requirements at the Stade de Reims.
Burnley and Bournemouth are looking to strengthen their squads ahead of the start of the new Premier League season on the weekend of the 16/17th August.
And both clubs consider Bojang to be a bright young talent with bags of potential.
Bakau-born Bojang is regarded in some quarters as one of the best young African talents and is now ready to kick on in his burgeoning career.
