Newcastle United, Wolves and Aston Villa are all interested in signing Celtic wing wizard Nicolas Kuhn, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
The German winger dazzled for the Hoops last season with 21 goals and 15 assists as the club claimed a memorable title and League Cup double.
And the 25-year-old has no shortage of admirers having finally found his feet in Scotland after a slow start where he failed to fire on full cylinders.
Kuhn penned a five-year deal last season having joined the Celts for £3million from Rapid Vienna 18 months ago.
And this season the former Germany Under-21 international celebrated more success with Brendan Rodgers’ all-conquering side as they were deservedly crowned Scottish champions for a fourth successive season.
He impressed in the Champions League and scored twice against RP Leipzig, with the Bundesliga outfit rumoured to be lining up a mega-bucks deal to sign the player.
But SportsBoom sources understand Kuhn is happy at Celtic after winning two league titles in such a short space of time, as well as the Scottish Cup in his first season at the club.
BIG DECISION
Even though Kuhn has a long-term contract at Fir Park, the club now have a big decision to make on whether they cash is on the player with a £15-20million transfer fee muted for the player’s services.
Kuhn mustered just three goals in his first 18 games for the club during the 202-24 campaign.
But this season has risen to prominence and quickly found his scoring feet with three goals in his first three games of the new season, scoring 11 goals in his opening 18 campaigns.
And he quickly became a key player for Rodgers, making 51 appearances across the league, cups and in the Champions League, as the Hoops battled for honours on numerous fronts.
Newcastle, Wolves and Villa are all admirers and had scouts watch Kuhn last season, although a number of top European clubs have expressed an interest in trying to entice the player away from Scotland.
