Exclusive: Liverpool Plot Shock Move as Everton Prepare for Iliman Ndiaye Transfer Battle
Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham, and Crystal Palace, are interested in signing Everton's top scorer Iliman Ndiaye. The 25-year-old Senegalese international, who has scored four goals this season, has had an interesting career progression from non-league to Premier League star. Lyon is also keen on bringing him back to Ligue 1. Everton is determined to keep Ndiaye, whom they signed in 2024.

Everton are braced for enquiries regarding top scorer Iliman Ndiaye, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
Our sources have been told a number of Premier League clubs are circling for the Toffees’ forward.
Ndiaye has scored four league goals so far this season amid David Moyes’ side's struggles in front of goal.
SportsBoom understands Liverpool are preparing a surprise swoop, whilst Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are all also interested in the Senegalese international.
The 25-year-old is also on the radar of Lyon, who want him to return to Ligue 1, where he previously played for Marseille.
It is understood Everton bosses are eager to keep hold of the striker, who they signed in 2024.
Previous reports indicated Everton were exploring a move to take over Bayern Munich’s loan for Nicolas Jackson to partner him with Senegal teammate Iliman Ndiaye in January, but the Chelsea forward could now arrive as a potential replacement rather than a strike partner.
Non-League to Prem Star
Ndiaye grew up in France and spent time at the Marseille academy. His dad moved to England for work and the player followed him and ended up at non-league Boreham Wood.
His big break came when he was snapped up by Sheffield United as a teenager in 2019.
Two years later he made his professional debut in the Premier League.
Following the Blades’ relegation to the Championship, Ndiaye found opportunities at Bramall Lane easier to come by and scored seven times in 30 league appearances in the 2021/22 campaign.
He followed that up with an impressive season where he doubled his tally and featured in all 46 games, earning himself Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year awards whilst also being named in the EFL and PFA Team of the Years.
Ndiaye returned to Marseille for a reported £20million that summer, but after just three goals in 30 games he returned to England with a five-year deal at Everton and netted nine leage goals.
