Exclusive: Former Nottingham Forest Striker And Free Agent Emmanuel Dennis Wanted by Saudi Pro League Club Al-Shabab

Former Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis is being pursued by Saudi club Al-Shabab. The 27-year-old free agent is looking for a new team after leaving Forest in June. The Nigerian international could join Al-Shabab on a two-year deal, with his wages not expected to be an issue. Dennis has had loan spells in Turkey and the Championship and is eager for regular playing time. Al-Shabab, who recently signed Josh Brownhill, are interested in adding Dennis to their squad.

Dennis has had loan spells in Turkey and the Championship and is eager for regular playing time. Fans tracking his next move might consider the safest sports betting sites to make informed bets on where he could land next.

Former Nottingham Forest hitman and free agent Emmanuel Dennis is wanted by Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal. If you’re looking to stay in the game and place your own bets on football action, check out the best app to bet on football today.

The 27-year-old Nigeria international striker has been searching for a new club since the end of June when Forest released him after three seasons at the City Ground.

He joined the club in a high-profile £20million deal in August 2022 but after a promising Premier League start soon found himself surplus to requirements.

And now Al-Shabab, who earlier this month signed former Burnley captain Josh Brownhill in a big-money deal, are interested in securing his services.

Our sources wages are not thought to be a problem and it is an attractive deal for the club as Dennis does not command a transfer fee as a free agent.

A two-year deal is being discussed for the experienced centre-forward, who craves regular football having been dished out on loan the past two seasons.

After making 19 appearances in the Premier League in his first season at the club, Dennis was sent out on loan to Turkish Super Lig outfit Istanbul Basaksehir.

He returned for the second half of the season for a loan move to Championship side Watford, scoring four goals in 17 league games in the second tier.

    LOAN SPELLS

And then last season he played just seven games all season on loan at another Championship club, Blackburn Rovers.

Earlier this month Dennis appeared on Sky Sports News to give his opinion on a variety of football topics, but his interview sparked plenty of humour after he abruptly got up and left the TV set much to the shock of the presenter.

The striker has been keen to raise his profile since being released and has been talking with a number of clubs about a possible deal.

But a move to the Saudi Pro League is understood to me a move which the player would relish.

Former Premier League midfielder Brownhill, who scored 18 goals for the Clarets last season as they won promotion back to the top-flight, was tempted to join Al-Shabab, as well as former Belgium international Yannick Carrasco and former Southampton and Watford defender Wesley Hoedt.
