The Grassrunner Academy player has been on the radar of several European clubs, with Manchester City leading the chase and previously inviting the teenager for a trial in October.
Trial at Manchester City Interrupted
A source close to the player confirmed that Agbejoye has returned to Nigeria after a recent spell at Manchester City, where his trial was temporarily paused due to illness.
He was advised to return home to recover, with plans in place for the winger to resume a second trial period in January. City are expected to make a decision on his future following that assessment.
