Harry Kane is set to sign a contract extension at Bayern Munich before this summer’s World Cup, SportsBoom can reveal.
The England superstar is understood to be locked in contract talks with Munich chiefs after a record-breaking season at the German giants.
Our sources have been told Kane wants his future sorted before this summer’s extravaganza in America.
The 32-year-old will lead England at this year’s World Cup and wants his mind focused on the job as the nation tries to win the Jules Rimet Trophy for the first time in 60 years.
Kane decided against triggering a release clause in his current deal at the club, which expired in January.
He is contracted at the Allianz Arena until next summer, with Munich bosses desperate to tie down the world class hitman.
Bayern Munich are also set for a battle to keep Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano, as both defenders continue to attract interest from Premier League clubs.

There is interest to bring the striker back to England, but it is understood Kane prefers to stay in Germany and is on the verge of signing a new multi-year deal.
Honorary President Uli Hoeness is worried about the temptation of Kane seeking a bumper payday in Saudi Arabia.
But our sources understand the player has no interest in a move to the Middle East and wants to keep competing for European honours.
Hoeness said: “He didn’t exercise his release clause, which means he’s definitely under contract here until summer 2027.”
“What I’m hearing and feeling is that he and his family feel extremely comfortable here.”
“You never know when a Saudi comes along and puts a lot of money on the table, but he feels very much at home.”
“I’d say Harry Kane is worth €150m. But then you see Alexander Isak cost €150m to Liverpool.”
“If [Alexander] Isak worth 150 million, then Harry is worth 250 million euros [£217million].”
Kane had failed to win a trophy during his career before moving to Bayern, where he won the Bundesliga and Franz Beckenbauer Supercup last season.
They are currently nine points clear in the title race and still in the Champions League.
