Inter Milan are considering Rasmus Højlund as Lautaro Martinez’s replacing if the Argentine striker leaves next summer, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
World Cup winner Martinez has been rumoured with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona to replace Robert Lewandowski.

But bosses at the Nou Camp want a world class striker leading the line and Martinez fits the bill.

He harbours ambitions of winning the Champions League and came within touching distance when Inter were blown away in last season’s final by Paris St Germain.
Martinez has scored 158 goals and provided 51 assists in 342 appearances for the club and has led Inter to two Serie A titles and two Champions League finals.
Losing Martinez would leave a huge gap to fill and Inter chiefs want to act fast in case their prized asset does leave at the end of the season.
And Højlund is currently top of their wish list after impressing in the early stages of his Napoli loan deal.
The Manchester United striker has scored four goals in his first six games for defending champions Napoli, who currently sit top of Serie A.
