Yves Bissouma’s days at Tottenham Hotspur are numbered after he was dropped from their Super Cup clash with PSG, SportsBoom sources can exclusively reveal.

Thomas Frank issued a stark warning that he is not to be messed with by Tottenham’s stars after he axed the 28-year-old after repeated lateness at the club.

Frank is not afraid to made his mark at a club. Last summer, he left star striker Ivan Toney out of his Brentford squads before his move to Saudi Arabia to avoid distracting his squad with the sale sideshow.

Sources close to the club have said: “Bissouma is finished at Tottenham. It was the right call to drop him over disciplinary issues.”

“It sets a bad example for the rest of the squad and has to be stamped out.”

And Spurs’ chiefs are open to offers for the defensive midfielder.

It is understood that suitors from abroad are ready to offer the player a route out of North London.

Clubs in the MLS and Saudi Arabia are eager to land the Mali International and could offer him a substantial pay-packet to quit the Premier League, seeing him as a big coup for their respective leagues.

Will Bissouma Cash In?

However, it is understood that the player still harbours ambitions of playing at the highest level in Europe.

Juventus and Fenerbahce have been linked with a move for the player in recent weeks.

Serie A’s Roma’s held tentative talks with Spurs’ bosses earlier this summer before opting to focus their interest elsewhere.

Bissouma moved to Tottenham from Brighton and Hove Albion for £30million in 2022 and was part of Spurs’ famous Europa League triumph last season, helping the club land their first European trophy in over 40 years.
