Exclusive: Nottingham Forest Favourites to Land Arsenal’s Rising Star Myles Lewis-Skelly on January Loan
Nottingham Forest are targeting Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly on loan in January. The 19-year-old left-back is seeking more playing time to secure his spot in England's World Cup squad. Several Premier League clubs are also eyeing a potential move for the promising teenager. Arsenal sees him as a future star and will only consider loan offers. Arteta's decision on Lewis-Skelly's future remains uncertain.

Nottingham Forest are preparing a bold loan move for Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly in January, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
The talented teenager, 19, is one of the brightest upstarts in the Premier League.
He has made 13 appearances for the league leaders so far this season, but is yet to start a top flight game with his minutes in the league all coming from the bench.
The youngster is behind Italy international Riccardo Calafiori, a £42million signing last year, as Mikel Arteta’s first choice left-back.
England boss Thomas Tuchel has told the player he needs more minutes to be considered for next summer's World Cup squad.
And it is understood a number of Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation after that announcement.
Lewis-Skelly is understood to be desperate to get his first taste of tournament football with the main squad and he best chance of that is seemingly away from the Emirates.
Nottingham Forest are also reportedly eyeing Everton’s Dwight McNeil in January, as Sean Dyche looks to reunite with his former winger from their time together at Goodison Park.
Clubs Circling for Unlikely Move
Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham and West Ham are also understood to be monitoring the situation from afar and are ready to pounce if Arteta green lights a loan move for the promising prospect.
Our sources understand that Arsenal regard the player as a future star and will not entertain any permanent bids for the versatile left-sided starlet.
It remains to be seen if Arteta would be willing to let Lewis-Skelly leave as it would leave him light of options at left-back after the summer departures of Nuno Tavares and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is ironically already on loan at Forest.
Lewis-Skelly has already been capped six times under Tuchel. He was handed his senior cap in March and marked his dream debut with a goal and a player-of-the-match performance against Albania.
But with the World Cup looming large, Lewis-Skelly has not added to his cap tally this season with March’s international break the only squad left before the tournament.
