Manchester City are lining up a blockbuster summer swoop for Paris Saint-Germain sensation Bradley Barcola, with Pep Guardiola ready to unleash the next superstar of his Etihad rebuild, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

City’s boss is understood to be a huge admirer of the electric winger, who fits perfectly into the club’s new transfer blueprint, young, fearless and ready to explode on the biggest stage.

With a major overhaul underway, Barcola has rocketed to the top of Guardiola’s wishlist.

Midfield general Rodri is expected to head for the exit this summer, while the departures of iconic figures Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne last year marked the end of an era.

Now, Guardiola is rebuilding and Barcola could be the face of City’s next dynasty.

The 23-year-old has all the hallmarks of a future global icon.

Blessed with blistering pace, razor-sharp movement and a deadly eye for goal, he has already delivered the goods at the highest level.

In just his third season with PSG, Barcola has racked up 148 appearances, netting 38 goals, including 81 outings in Ligue 1, France’s top league.

SERIAL WINNER

His glittering CV already reads like that of a seasoned veteran. Barcola has lifted the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup, while finishing runner-up at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Domestically, he’s collected back-to-back league titles, two Coupe de France crowns and three Trophée des Champions triumphs. Not bad for a player still only 23.

The former Olympique Lyonnais academy graduate has also made his mark on the international stage.

Capped 18 times by France and an Olympic silver medallist on home soil, Barcola is firmly established as one of Les Bleus’ brightest attacking weapons - even in a squad stacked with stars like Kylian Mbappe.

But despite his success in Paris, the lure of the Premier League is growing stronger. Barcola is understood to be ambitious and eager to follow in Mbappe’s footsteps by dominating Europe’s biggest competitions, and City’s relentless pursuit of silverware could prove irresistible.

PSG will be desperate to keep hold of their prized asset, but with Guardiola pushing hard and a new era dawning in Manchester, this is one transfer saga that is gathering serious momentum and could explode before the summer is out.
