West Ham are preparing an audacious swoop for Real Madrid outcast Endrick, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The relegation-threatened Hammers are one of a trio of Premier League clubs plotting moves to bring the Brazilian wonder kid to England.

Endrick appears destined to escape his nightmare at the Bernabéu with a loan move away from Madrid in January.

The 19-year-old whizkid has cut an increasingly frustrated figure on the Madrid bench this season and is yet to make an appearance for the club since Xabi Alonso’s appointment this summer.

And our sources understand his advisors are desperately trying to thrash out a deal which will put him into contention to make Brazil’s World Cup squad next summer.

Brighton and Hove Albion and Aston Villa are also interested in the forward, although it is understood the Seagulls would favour a permanent move.

French Fancy

French club Lyon are the early frontrunners to land the talented teenager, who is desperate to showcase his talents with the World Cup looming large.

It has been reported that Madrid want Endrick’s wages covered in full as well as a loan fee for the player.

Lyon’s prospective deal only covers a percentage of Endrick’s wages.

Endrick signed for Madrid for a fee in the region of £52million from Palmer’s when he was 16 and is evidently not in Alonso’s plans in Spain.

Speaking to Madrid legend Romario earlier this year, Endrick said: “To tell you the truth, what goes through my head a lot is that I'm afraid I won't be in the World Cup.”

“You [Romario] have been through it, too, my dad even told me that you were hoping and didn't get a call-up [in 1998]. So I have this fear. Because it's a dream of mine. It's hard to say because I want to be at the World Cup and help Brazil win its sixth title.”
