£60m or Nothing! Frankfurt Name Their Price as Hugo Ekitike Mania Grips Premier League

Highly sought-after striker Hugo Ekitike is attracting Premier League interest with a £60m price tag by Eintracht Frankfurt. Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and West Ham are all eyeing the young French sensation as a potential star striker for their clubs. Ekitike has impressed with 19 goals and 8 assists for Frankfurt and recently scored a hat-trick against England U21s.

Hugo Ekitike is the source of major Premier League interest, according to SportsBoom sources.

But Eintracht Frankfurt are understood to want a fee in the region of £60million for the striker.

The highly-sought-after hitman, 22, is considered a cheaper alternative for clubs searching for their next star striker than the likes of Victor Osimhen, Alexander Isak and Victor Gyokeres.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been heavily linked with the promising young gun.

West Ham United are also interested in luring the marksman to the Premier League as Graham Potter looks to rebuild the Hammers.

The Bundesliga notoriously drive a hard bargain and after refusing to lower their asking price for Omar Marmoush they eventually got Manchester City to stump up £59million for the Egyptian forward.

And it is understood the price is likely to be a stumbling block for the East London club.

Ekitike is the club's latest strike sensation after stepping into the boots left by Randal Kolo Muani.

Arsenal have been interested in the player before, in 2022 when he was still at Reims.

But it is understood Ruben Amorim’s Red Devils could be the frontrunners with the player a boyhood fan of the club.

    FINDING HIS FEET

The Frenchman started his career at Reims before going on loan to PSG.

After making 25 appearances during his stint at the club, he made a permanent move in the summer of 2023 as PSG exercised their option to buy.

Etitike made just one appearance and left for Germany after just a year to reignite his career.

The striker has impressed for Frankfurt this term, netting 19 times and providing eight assists during a prolific campaign.

And he further enhanced his profile in England with a hat-trick against the England U21s in the recent international break.
