Real Madrid and double Champions League winner Antonio Rudiger is being courted by Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan as his contract conundrum with the club rumbles on, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.

The vastly-experienced German international defender has surprisingly fallen out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu this season.

He has played just ONE game all season having been a mainstay of the Los Bloncos side for the past three seasons in La Liga.

And although the 32-year-old centre-back has been heavily-touted for a return to former club Chelsea, our sources have learnt that London rivals Spurs and Italian giants Inter are also hungry to secure his prized signature.

Rudiger has been struggling with a bad hamstring injury ever since Real boss Xabi Alonso took charge, but regardless the Spaniard has opted for a different central defensive partnership this season with the club flying high at the of the Spanish top-flight, three points clear of closest rivals Barcelona and currently sitting in seventh place in a healthy position in the Champions League qualifying stages.

HAMSTRING INJURY

His injury aside, Real hope they can agree a new deal with the 81-cap international defender Rudiger, but interest in signing him is growing as he approaches the final six months of his contract in January.

Real confirmed in their official website that Rudiger has suffered a “rectus femoris muscle” injury and it is believed he won’t be able to return to action until December at the earlier.

But that hasn’t warned off both Spurs and Inter, who are both aware of the defender’s skills and achievements.

Spurs boss Thomas Frank is also looking to bolster his midfield in January, with a reported £30m move on the table to reunite with Brentford star Yehor Yarmolyuk.

Rudiger enjoy sweet success with Chelsea having joined them for £29million on a five-year deal in July 2017.

He famously won the Champions League crown with the Blues in the 2020-21 season, as well as the Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA World Cup and FA Cup during a decorated spell with the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Rudiger then went on to win the La Liga title with Real in 2024, as well as winning the Champions League crown for the second time in his career, as well as a host of other honours with the Spanish giants including the Copa del Rey.
