The 2024 Johnstone's Paint Tour Championship, a prestigious event in the world of professional snooker. Established in 2019, this tournament showcases the talents of the top twelve players on the one-year ranking list, determined by their prize money earnings throughout the season's ranking events. As the concluding event of the Players Series, following the World Grand Prix and the Players Championship, the Tour Championship holds a special place in the snooker calendar, attracting the best players vying for glory and recognition.

The top four players on the one-year list automatically advance to the quarterfinals as seeded players. Meanwhile, the remaining eight players battle it out in the first round to secure the remaining four quarter-final berths. Each match is contested as the best of 19 frames, held over two sessions. Unlike previous editions where both sessions of each match occurred in a single day, two of the four first-round matches and two of the four quarterfinals will now span across two days, adding to the suspense and excitement of the tournament.
