A question all following this game will be asking themselves is, what Manchester United team will show up on the day? The Red Devils have not really shown up in the Premier League with one win in five games and a draw if that’s consolation enough.
Brighton Hove and Albion convincingly beat them in their last game by a scoreline of 3-1. In the game preceding that one, they simply had to win against the worst team in the league and that they did. But overall, they have not represented themselves as one of the big six teams in England.
Fulham, on the other hand, are doing relatively well considering the expectations. They are for all intents and purposes a mid-table team, and tenth position is pretty much good for them. In their last game out, they beat Leicester City 2-0.

Fulham have only one loss in their last five games and have won eight points out of a possible fifteen. Last time out they beat Premier League returnees and current strugglers Leicester City 2-0 away from home.
That game was preceded by a 3-2 defeat at West Ham. At home, they are unbeaten in six games, although four of those games were draws against Ipswich, Bournemouth, Southampton, and Arsenal. They have made Craven Cottage a fortress and manager, Marco Silva will be looking to maintain the status quo.

- Alex Iwobi: The Nigerian has done well since the manager moved him further up the field and is one of the players on form for Fulham.
- Antonee Robinson: The left-back was the best player last time out for his team and we expect him to do well against United.
- Emile Smith Rowe: Smith Rowe scored against Leicester City and playing just behind the striker, we predict him to have a goal contribution on the day by either scoring or assisting.

It would be an understatement to say Manchester United are low on confidence heading to Craven Cottage. They have lost three times in their last five games and will be looking for a turnaround in results, which will be a mountainous task for them.
It is not enough to play well against fellow big teams but perform poorly against teams of lesser status. That has been the trend for them in the Premier League and England’s domestic cup competitions.
They played well against Liverpool and Manchester City, forcing a 2-2 draw against the former and winning 2-1 against their city rivals. This is not a good trend and Amorim would do well by addressing it promptly.

- Bruno Fernandes: Fernandes must step up for his team considering his prominent leadership role. He got a goal against Brighton, converting a penalty kick. That might just serve as a much-needed confidence boost.
- Amad Diallo: Given an opportunity to play under the new manager, Amad Diallo has proved to be clutch for United and we predict he might just spring something up against Fulham.
