Key Players to watch

  • Trent Alexander-Arnold: The Real Madrid-bound man has one of the most educated right feet in the game. It will be a pleasure to watch his final few games in a Liverpool shirt before making the shift to Spain.
  • Diogo Jota: The Portuguese forward is one of the most clinical strikers at the club. He has suffered an injury-ravaged season but has still managed to get nine goal contributions.
  • Mohamed Salah: The Egyptian has 46 goal contributions in the league in 35 matches and has been by far the best player in the division.

Liverpool Team News

Joe Gomez is a long-term absentee with a hamstring injury, and Connor Bradley has a knock. After winning the title, Slot could be tempted to rotate his squad, but it will be a tough encounter against the Gunners.

Arsenal Current Form – DDWDL

Arteta’s side has suffered a dip in form lately. The London-based club has won just once over their previous five games, having drawn three times and losing the other game. The teams below them are making up ground in the race for a Champions League spot.

Key Players to watch

  • Declan Rice: The English international is having his best season in front of goal in his career. The marauding midfielder has 10 goal contributions in 33 Premier League games.
  • Bukayo Saka: Saka has missed most of the season due to a hamstring injury but has still been Arsenal’s highest goal contributor in the league with 16 in 22 games.
  • Myles Lewis-Skelly: The academy graduate has burst onto the scene and looks like a ready-made Premier League player. Lewis-Skelly can play at left-back or in the midfield.

Arsenal Team News

Arteta will be without long-term absentees Kai Havertz (hamstring), Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Gabriel Jesus, who both suffered knee injuries. Gabriel has a hamstring strain and is out for the season, while Jorginho has a chest issue. Riccardo Calafiori is also a doubt for the trip to Anfield.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Liverpool: (4-3-3): Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Salah, Jota, Diaz

  2. Arsenal (4-3-3): Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Merino, Martinelli
