Invaders from the Planet Moolah Slot Machine Copycat Ally Aliens

I always get a rush of excitement when I find an top online slot machine that is a copycat of a game I've played in real world casinos. That was the case when I first encountered Ally Aliens; this slot is a copycat of the original Invaders from the Planet Moolah slot machine made popular by WMS Gaming.

If you like the original version of the Invaders from the Planet Moolah slot machine, I have a special treat to share with you. There is a copycat of this slot machine online that includes identical features. It’s called Ally Aliens, and it is available at several online sweepstakes casinos that cater to US players.

Differences Between Ally Aliens and Invaders from the Planet Moolah

There aren’t very many differences between these two slot machines, so if you like Invaders from the Planet Moolah, you are very likely going to enjoy playing the Ally Aliens slot machine.

There are two differences that come to mind upon review of Ally Aliens. The first one is related to the theme of the two games. The other difference is related to the payouts.

In terms of themes, both Ally Aliens and Invaders from the Planet Moolah have a space and aliens theme. However, the Invaders from the Planet Moolah slot machine has the space and aliens theme intertwined with a farm theme, while Ally Aliens do not. So if you’re a big fan of hearing the cows “moo” while playing Invaders from the Planet Moolah, you will be missing out on that feature while playing Ally Aliens.

While the absence of the mooing in the Ally Aliens online slot version might disappoint you, there is another key difference between the games. If you can find the Invaders from the Planet Moolah slot machine on a casino floor - and the original version is almost impossible to find - you will probably only be receiving a theoretical payback of 85%-93%. Ally Aliens blows that away; this online version has a theoretical return to player of 95.78%.

The bottom line is this: If you choose to play Ally Aliens online instead of Invaders from the Planet Moolah in a land-based casino, your money will last 1.5x-3.5x as long, plus your chances of walking away a big winner are greatly increased.

Ally Aliens Base Game (Invaders from the Planet Moolah)

base-game-ally-aliens-slot-machine.jpg

If you are a fan of Invaders from the Planet Moolah, then none of this will be a surprise to you. The Ally Aliens slot machine is a twenty-five payline slot machine. There are wild symbols in the base game, but there is no scatter symbol. At the end of a spin, wins are evaluated, winning symbols are removed, and then the reels tumble and new symbols are added at the top of the reels to fill in the grid. This cycle repeats until there are no winning combinations left. Once that is the case, the round is over. That is, unless you have triggered the bonus feature.

Ally Aliens (Invaders from the Planet Moolah) Free Games Bonus

If you’ve strung together 4-8 consecutive tumbles, you will be playing the free games bonus on Ally Aliens. The free games operate under the same rules as the base game, but I’ve noticed in both Invaders from the Planet Moolah and Ally Aliens that it appears much easier to get winning combinations on spins.

During the free games, getting 4+ consecutive tumbles during a spin will retrigger your bonus. The amount of new spins awarded follows the same rules that are used during the base game. There is no limit to how many times the bonus can be retriggered.

Triggering the Bonus on Ally Aliens (Invaders from the Planet Moolah)

The free games bonus feature on Ally Aliens (Invaders from the Planet Moolah) is triggered by putting together a string of four or more consecutive collapses/tumbles due to winning combinations.

Your bonus duration and triggering prize is determined by how many times you had a tumble during the triggering base game spin. Here are the possibilities:

  • 4 Collapses (Tumbles) - 7 Free Games and 12x Triggering Bet
  • 5 Collapses (Tumbles) - 10 Free Games and 25x Triggering Bet
  • 6 Collapses (Tumbles) - 15 Free Games and 50x Triggering Bet
  • 7 Collapses (Tumbles) - 25 Free Games and 70x Triggering Bet
  • 8 Collapses (Tumbles) - 40 Free Games and 100x Triggering Bet
  • 9+ Collapses (Tumbles) - Top Bonus Feature and 200x Triggering Bet

Top Bonus on Ally Aliens (Invaders from the Planet Moolah)

I was never fortunate enough to land a 9+ consecutive tumble on Invaders from the Planet Moolah, so I can’t tell you if this “top bonus” feature on the Ally Aliens slot machine is identical. However, considering the degree to which everything else has been copied, I imagine it is the same.

If you get nine or more consecutive tumbles (collapses) during a spin on Ally Aliens, then you will trigger their “top bonus.” When you trigger this feature, you have two different options from which to choose.

top-bonus-feature-options-ally-aliens-slot.jpg

The first option is the free games feature with insane terms that are extremely likely to score you a mind-blowing jackpot. The free games option awards you with fifty free games at the outset of your bonus and all wins are multiplied by 25. That means every little line hit turns into a big win. Additionally, during this feature the free games can be retriggered over and over; there is no cap on how many games you can win with 25x payouts on all prizes.

If you don’t want to play the super-charged free games feature I just described, you do have another option you can choose. It is called the “Powerball Picking Bonus.” This bonus has nine powerballs displayed on the screen and each powerball has one of the following values: 50x bet, 100x bet, 150x bet, 200x bet, 250x bet, 300x bet, and 500x bet. You then get to choose five of these powerballs. If your bonus is a total disaster and you stink at picking balls, you could end up with as little as 250x your bet (five 50x balls.) However, if you catch one of those unicorn once-in-a-lifetime type bonuses, you could end up with as much as 2500x your bet (five 500x balls.

If you get those 9+ tumbles, the choice is up to you for your top bonus. But…seriously…who isn’t going to choose the free games bonus on Ally Aliens or Invaders from the Planet Moolah? I think the only scenario under which I’d choose the Powerball bonus is if I really had to pee badly.

Conclusion

If you’ve come this far, I imagine that you are a big fan of Invaders from the Planet Moolah and you’re ready to play Ally Aliens. I’m sure that you won’t regret it. Even though we don’t get those cool cow “moo” sounds, the greatly increased payouts are more than enough to compensate me.

I love playing Ally Aliens slots online and I think you will too. Give it a shot!
