Exclusive: Tottenham Legend Paul Miller Drums Support for Under-Fire Manager Thomas Frank
Legendary Tottenham figure Paul Miller has urged patience for manager Thomas Frank amid calls for his removal. With recent poor performances, Miller defends Frank's short tenure and calls for new signings in the winter transfer window to improve the team's performance. Finishing in the top half of the Premier League is still achievable with the right support.

Legendary Tottenham figure Paul Miller has called for patience with embattled gaffer Thomas Frank as calls for his axe continue to surface in recent weeks.
Tottenham went down 3-0 to Nottingham Forest last weekend, a sixth loss of the campaign which has left them 11th in the Premier League, and six points off the top four.
Renowned for his doggedness and tough tackling style of play, the former center back enjoyed ten successful years at White Hart Lane, winning the FA Cup twice with the club to go with the Charity Shield and and the European UEFA Cup laurels.
With suggestions slowly creeping in about a loss of confidence particularly if results do not improve, Miller has leapt to the defence of the Dane, arguing he's not even got enough time to work his own team.
"You can't judge a man barely four, five months into his job", Miller told SportsBoom.com in an exclusive interview.
"The performances have been up and down yes, but then the signings we made in the summer were not even his signings, he hadn't had much to do with that."
"He had come in after we've enjoyed something sensational, winning the Europa League, but he needs to get the right blend of players in, which he still needs to do."
WINTER TRANSFER BUSINESS
"There would be some money to spend over the next month, and I'd reckon we would be buying two, or three of the right players that would suit his philosophy, and the way he wants the team to play."
Reports suggest Tottenham are readying a bid to try to bring Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo on loan in January, but Miller does not think the club would be lulled into letting go of one of their best youth talents.
"I'm not sure, Emmanuel. I'm not sure they are going to want to sell him, to be honest. I don't really see Man United doing that business with us."
"But Antoine Semenyo, from Bournemouth is a player we can do with, absolutely. Top player, and can switch it up for us."
Semenyo is a man in demand with a number of big wigs in the top flight including Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool having cast admiring glances at the Cherries star this season following his blistering start.
GRAY AND BERGVALL NEEDS TO PLAY MORE
"We really need to see more of Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall, two young players who are both very, very good and have improved their games so much lately", Miller suggested.
"I would say play them a little bit more, to Frank, because they're that good."
"Finishing higher in the Premier League? That should be the aim, to be honest. If they back the manager all through the season ending, it is achievable."
"There's very little in it at the moment, there's about five points separating ten teams now yeah?"
"If we finish fifth, sixth or seventh, i think we can look back and say we've had a good season."
