The Philadelphia 76ers roster sits 13th in the Eastern Conference, but their season has been very underwhelming. The franchise will use the offseason to rebuild and aim to keep their core players fit.
Their best player this season goes to 24-year-old point guard Tyrese Maxey, posting 26.3 points and 6.1 assists per game. He is a very valuable asset, but his season ended abruptly over a week ago due to a finger injury, which led to the roster opting to tank. Without Maxey, it’s safe to say the franchise will be in a much worse state.
Perhaps surprisingly, the 76ers hit the jackpot when they acquired 24-year-old Quentin Grimes. The Bulls will use these final games in the build-up to the 76ers game to build their strongest squad but also try a range of tactics to progress through to the playoffs later in the month.
One key player that the Bulls need to keep as fit as possible is Nikola Vucevic, who is currently on the sidelines due to problems with his calf. The 34-year-old is averaging 18.7 points per game and, for the eighth consecutive season, is averaging double figures in rebounds per game. His 10.1 rebounds make him a key threat both in and out of possession, and he is placed 11th overall in the NBA as a result.
After Zach LaVine was traded away, Coby White replaced him as the franchise leader with the most points made per game, averaging 20.7 for the season.
