32-year-old Rudy Gobert has started all 39 games this season for the Timberwolves as their starting center. The Timberwolves’ leading star is 23-year-old Anthony Edwards. The 23-year-old is placed eighth in the entire league in the points-per-game standings and is improving as the season progresses. The Grizzlies are using their roster to good effect to try and stay healthy throughout the season, with no player posting higher than 30 minutes per game on average. Ja Morant picked up an injury earlier in the season, with the 25-year-old averaging 21.4 points per game and 7.3 assists. While these numbers don’t match previous years, he is still helping the organization’s continued upward trajectory up the league.
Improving year-on-year is Jaren Jackson Jr, with the 25-year-old the Grizzlies’ leading shooter with 22.8 points. This is the second year in a row that he has posted above 22 points per game, but a key difference is he’s improving in defensive situations and regaining possession on both sides of the court.
