Bayern Munich, Spurs & Man City Chase Tyler Dibling – Saints Set £100m Price Tag

Southampton have slapped a huge price tag on Tyler Dibling to cash in on their prized asset, according to SportsBoom sources.

It is understood the Saints would want a whopping fee heading towards £100million, which would fund a squad rebuild, to consider parting ways with the youngster. 

Relegation-bound Southampton, who are firmly rooted to the foot of the Premier League table having picked up a paltry nine points in 29 games so far this term, have not had much joy this season.

But the one bright spark in an otherwise calamitous campaign has been the significant emergence of 19-year-old Dibling. 

Southampton’s academy have unearthed numerous talents over the years with the likes of Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Ward-Prose coming off the conveyor belt on the south coast. 

And it looks like highly-sought after Dibling is another who is primed to take the top flight by storm in years to come.

He spent time at Stamford Bridge a couple of years ago before returning to St Mary’s and Chelsea will have to fork out a substantial sum if they want to reignite their interest this summer.

BIG CLUBS KEEN

It seems relegation will not tempt the Saints to part with their starlet in a cut-priced deal with a number of top clubs eager to secure his signature.

But after a taste of top-flight action, Dibling wants to play at the highest level after showcasing his talents this season. 

Liverpool are one of a number of clubs who have sent scouts to watch Dibling in action this season ahead of a potential summer move. The two clubs have had a good working relationship in the past with the league leaders buying a number of players from the Saints.

But Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are leading the interest in the winger, but it remains to be seen whether the asking price puts them off.

Bayern Munich are keen to take Dibling to Germany having seen other young English talent thrive in the Bundesliga.

Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, who have had differing fortunes since, both took the league by storm during their respective stints at Borussia Dortmund.
