Following on from an action-packed FedEx St. Jude Championship where Justin Rose clinched his 12th career PGA Tour title, the field this week has been slashed. Those in the top 50 in the FedEx Cup rankings will tee it up, and they have earned exemptions to all the Signature Events in 2026. Rory McIlroy
With his place at the BMW Championship already assured, Rory McIlroy has had the luxury of taking a few weeks off. In his last outing, the Ulsterman turned in a good performance at the Open Championship, and he often invites plenty of interest from golf betting sportsbooks.
Our main concern at the moment lies with McIlroy’s driving accuracy as he’s down on the field, but he’s been solid with the putter, and he’s got a few wins under his belt this term. T11 at the BMW Championship last term, McIlroy could light things up this week.
Tommy Fleetwood
Despite winning several times on the DP World Tour, a PGA Tour victory remains elusive for Tommy Fleetwood. It looked like it would come on his 162nd appearance at TPC Southwind last weekend, but Fleetwood seized up as the finishing post drew closer.
