There have been some renovations carried out at the Crans-sur-Sierre GC over the past few years, including revamping the greens of the first, fourth, and fifth holes.

Representing one of the toughest starts to the front nine of a DP World Tour event, the fairways at this event are sloped, while the greens are tight.

Judging by his overall stats, he’s been pretty solid from tee to green, and he’s also been handy with the putter.

If he can get off to a strong start, he could be in the mix come the weekend, and he’s one to pay close attention to.

As the defending champion, Matt Wallace will have a target on his back, and while he was on the periphery of things at the British Masters, finishing T33, his results are on the right trajectory.
