Aston Villa are desperate to tie down Morgan Rogers amid growing interest from Premier League rivals, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal.
The 23-year-old playmaker stole the show during England’s recent international break with his performances leading to onlookers wondering how Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham automatically returns to Thomas Tuchel’s best XI.
That has attracted the eye of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, who are all eager to secure the highly-rated midfielder’s talents.
Rogers extended his deal at Villa Park until 2030 only last year, but our sources understand he has been offered a bumper pay rise to keep him at the club, where he signed for just £16million from Middlesbrough in 2021.
Tottenham were reportedly ready to “break the bank” to land the player in the summer and it is understood Thomas Frank will reignite his huge interest in the player.
If Rogers decides his future lies away from Villa with one of the traditional ‘big six’ clubs then the Midlands outfit would welcome the bidding war which will undoubtedly ensue.

He spent just seven months at the club before moving to Villa in 2024 and was awarded the PFA Young Player of the Year award following a breakthrough season at the club last term.
