Exclusive: Out-of-Favour Joshua Zirkzee Plots Man Utd Escape with Premier League and Serie A Clubs Circling
Joshua Zirkzee, a Manchester United flop, is desperate to leave the club after failing to impress. West Ham, Everton, Nottingham Forest, Roma, and Como are potential suitors. Zirkzee has struggled to make an impact since his £40million move from Bologna in 2022.

Manchester United flop Joshua Zirkzee wants out of his Old Trafford nightmare in January, SportsBoom can reveal.
There was huge excitement around the club when the Dutch international joined the Red Devils for a fee in the region of £40million last year, with his arrival generating widespread discussion and early projections across the top betting sites.
But he has failed to fire under Ruben Amorim and United fans are more suited to seeing the 24-year-old warming the bench than heating up the pitch.
After an underwhelming first season Zirkzee, who has not scored a Premier League goal since December, has fallen down the pecking order after the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Seiko this summer.
Our sources have been told Zirkzee is desperate to leave the club and reignite his career, and we understand there are a number of sides willing to offer the striker a short-term escape route from Manchester, developments already being tracked closely on low deposit betting sites amid growing transfer speculation.
West Ham boss Nuno is eager to get a loan striker through the door for the Hammers' relegation fight.
Summer signing Callum Wilson has not featured since the Portuguese boss took over with youngster Callum Marshall preferred when chasing a goal against Brentford on Monday night.
Ivan Toney has also been linked with a January loan move to East London in order to put himself in the frame for a place in England's World Cup squad.
Fellow Premier League clubs Everton and Nottingham Forest are among a number of potential suitors.
It is also understood there is interest further afield for out-of-favour Zirkzee.
Roma and Como are monitoring his situation and could offer Zirkzee a chance to return to Serie A, whilst Seville have entered the race.
England Struggle
Zirkzee started his career at Bayern Munich and scored four goals in 12 Bundesliga appearances across his four-year spell with the club.
An impressive loan spell at Anderlecht, where he bagged 15 goals in 32 league games earned him a move to Italy with Bologna in the summer of 2022.
Zirkzee scored 12 goals in 37 outings in the 2023/24 campaign to earn himself a high-profile move to Old Trafford.
