Arsenal Current Form - WWL

Mikel Arteta’s side has six points from three games after winning their opening game at Old Trafford and following that up with a dominant display at home to Leeds.  They lost their previous game, however, after Dominik Szoboslai’s stunning free-kick put them to the sword against the champions Liverpool.

Key Players to Watch

  • Ebereche Eze: Arsenal splashed the cash to bring Eze to North London, and the creative midfielder is a profile that the Gunners desperately needed as the 27-year-old offers creativity and inevitability in the one vs one down the flanks.
  • Declan Rice: Rice has been one of Arsenal’s best performers over the past year, and the marauding midfielder has been tasked with a higher role following the arrival of Martin Zubimendi, allowing him to flourish in the final third.
  • David Raya: The Spanish shot-stopper has won the Golden Glove for the past two seasons in the Premier League and is one of the most dominant claimers of the ball in his box in the world.

Arsenal Team News

The Gunners will still be without Ben White, Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, and William Saliba for the visit of Forest, as all four players are long-term absentees. Arteta has added a lot of depth ahead of the season, and the squad should be able to deal with the injury crisis.

Nottingham Forest Current Form - WDL

Nuno Espirito Santos’ side started the campaign with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Brentford and followed that up with a draw away to Crystal Palace before a shock 3-0 defeat at home to West Ham United. The Portuguese manager will be expecting a response from his team following that defeat to the Hammers.

Key Players to watch

  • Morgan Gibbs-White: After penning a new deal to keep him at Forest, Gibbs-White has committed his future to the club, and the Forest faithful will be relieved to have kept their all-action midfielder.
  • Chris Wood: Following a career-best season last time out, Wood has already hit the ground running, and the New Zealander has registered two goals in three games.
  • Callum Hudson-Odoi: The former Chelsea winger is capable of going on the outside or inside of his full-back and has already registered one goal in his three matches in the Premier League this season.

Nottingham Forest Team News

After finishing the transfer window strongly and adding James McAtee and Omari Hutchinson to their squad, Forest look like a really strong outfit with enough depth to continue their impressive form in the Premier League.
