Arsenal vs Tottenham: North London Derby Set to Thrill on Wednesday Night
Arsenal will host their cross-town rivals in the second North London derby of the Premier League season and will be looking for a similar result by beating a struggling Tottenham. Mikel Arteta was aggrieved following their draw at Brighton and only a positive result will be on his mind to close the gap on Liverpool.

Arsenal would have breathed a sigh of relief after Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United, having dropped points themselves against Brighton following a contentious penalty goal scored by Joao Pedro. A win would have reduced the gap between themselves and Arne Slot’s men to within four points before the latter’s encounter with United.
Nevertheless, their run in the Premier League has been good with an unbeaten record in five games and eleven points won, placing them six points behind Liverpool who have a game in hand. They’ve only played twice at home though, drawing with a stubborn Everton team who held them 1-1 and held on to a 1-0 lead to win over Ipswich.

- Declan Rice: If Rice bosses the midfield, then his team has a definite chance of winning the game convincingly. On any given day he has the ability to make crucial steals and positive passes forward.
- Ethan Nwaneri: Before being substituted off against Brighton, the teenage forward was a standout performer. If he makes it back on time, Arteta is sure to hand him a start against their North London rivals and we tip him to pick off where left.
- Riccardo Calafiori: His pace and reading of the game will come in handy for Arsenal against Tottenham’s pacey wingers. In attack, he will also be crucial for his team, having the ability to score and assist as well.
