Brentford vs Chelsea Preview: Odds, Tips, and Prediction

Date: 13 September 2025 Kick-off (UK Time): 22:00 Venue: Gtech Community Stadium Brentford host Chelsea at the Gtech Community Stadium in Premier League action on Saturday, 13 September 2025. As the international break comes to an end and the league gets into the swing of things, you can find plenty of value in this tie for soccer bettors who are looking to maximise their bet slip at some of the best football betting sites in the industry. The Bees welcome the Blues for an appetising Premier League clash as the league resumes post the international break. The home side has had a stuttering start to the campaign under new head coach, Keith Andrews, and they will target a positive result on home soil. The visitors, on the other hand, have been excellent and come into the tie unbeaten and in second place on the table.

The Bees started the season with a 3-1 loss away to Nottingham Forest, but quickly followed that up with an impressive 1-0 victory over Aston Villa, only for Andrews’ side to lose to Sunderland in dramatic fashion in the last game before the break.

Key Players to watch

  • Kevin Schade: The 23-year-old had a breakout campaign last season as he notched up double figures for goals and assists. Schade is a tricky winger with an eye for goal.
  • Mikkel Damsgaard: The Danish international was one of the Premier League’s leading assist makers last season and is an integral part of the Bees’ midfield as he adds creativity and technical security in the middle of the park.
  • Nathan Collins: Collins has been handed the armband at Brentford and is one of the most complete centre-backs in the Premier League. The man from Northern Ireland wins almost everything in the air and is technically gifted, so he can play out the back with ease as well.

Brentford Team News

Andrews will be without Gustavo Nunes and Paris Maghoma as both are nursing hamstring injuries, while Vitaly Janelt has a heel issue but will be assessed ahead of the visit of Chelsea.

Chelsea Current Form – DWW

After a disappointing draw on the opening day to Crystal Palace, where Enzo Maresca’s side created plenty of chances, the Blues followed it up with back-to-back victories over their London rivals, West Ham United (5-1) and Fulham (2-0), to remain unbeaten after three games played.

Key Players to watch

  • Joao Pedro: The Brazilian has found his scoring boots at Chelsea in lightning fashion as he has already registered twice in three games for the Blues and is a real threat in the final third.
  • Estevao: The 18-year-old looks like a real gem down the wing for Chelsea. He has quick feet, can combine well with his teammates and has the potential to be a huge player for Maresca and Chelsea.
  • Moises Caicedo: The Ecuadorian is a defensive machine in the middle of the park for Chelsea. Caicedo sniffs out attacks and gets his side on the front foot with his quick releases.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Brentford (4-3-3): Kelleher, Kayode, Collins, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter, Henderson, Yarmolyuk, Ouattara, Damsgaard, Schade, Thiago

  2. Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Sanchez, Gusto, Chalobah, Adarabioyo, Cucurella, Caicedo, Fernandez, Estevao, Gittens, Neto, Pedro

Suggested Bets

New bettors can enhance their potential profits on these suggested picks by securing a welcome bonus from leading sportsbooks.

  1. Chelsea to Score in Both Halves: The Blues have an exciting attacking line-up and have been free scoring lately. Back them to find the net in both halves. (5/2 with Betway)

  2. Both Teams to Score (No): Three of the previous five games saw both of these sides not register a goal in this fixture. (111/110 with Betway)

Value Bets

Understanding key betting rules can also help ensure clarity when navigating different markets and potential outcomes.

  1. Chelsea to Win and over 2.5 goals: The visitors look like a real force under Maresca, while the home side is still finding its feet, so expect the Blues to win and score over 2.5 goals in the game as well. (3/2 with Bet UK)

  2. Joa Pedro Anytime Goal Scorer: Chelsea create a lot of chances and Pedro already has two goals to his name in his three Premier League appearances. (Forecast odds: 4/1. Odds available closer to kick-off with 10Bet

Prediction: Chelsea to Win Nil

The visitors have started the campaign in good form and have a stacked squad. The home side, however, has been shaky following a host of changes to the side and the managerial staff. Expect Maresca’s side to run riot against a Bees side that is yet to get into a rhythm under the new head coach, Andrews.
