Crystal Palace Current Form – LDDDW

The home team has had a small dip in form lately. Oliver Glasner’s side has only won once in their previous five games, losing once and drawing three times in that period. With just two games to go, Palace will want to improve on that form.

Key Players to watch

  • Marc Guehi: The Englishman has been excellent for Palace at the back this season. Guehi has featured in 34 games and has an impressive five-goal contribution as a centre-back.
  • Jean-Phillipe Mateta: The Frenchman has replicated his form from his debut season for Glasner’s side this campaign. Mateta has 16 goal contributions in 35 Premier League games.
  • Ismaila Sarr: The Senegalese has 12 goal contributions and has played in every game in the Premier League for the Eagles, a testament to how important he is for the London-based outfit.

Crystal Palace Team News

The home team will be without Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad as both have knee issues. Additionally, Adam Wharton is a doubt for the visit of Wolves. Glasner will want to manage his squad effectively as they have an FA Cup final to look forward to as well.

Wolves Current Form – WWWLL

Since taking over a couple months into the Premier League season, Vitor Pereira has done a brilliant job with this Wolves side. In their previous five games, they have lost twice and won the other three games in that period.

Key Players to watch

  • Matheus Cunha: The Brazilian has been in red-hot form this season and has registered 21 goal contributions in his 31 Premier League appearances.
  • Pablo Sarabia: The Spanish midfielder has been a key contributor in this Wolves side, and when fit, is a nightmare to track as he is a very intelligent player inside the pockets.
  • Jorgen Strand Larsen: The Norwegian has hit the ground running in his first Premier League season. The striker has 15 goal contributions in his 33 league appearances for Wolves.

Wolves Team News

The Wolves’ side has been suffering with knee injuries. Enso Gonzalez, Sasa Kalajdzic, Yerson Mosquera, and Leon Chiwome are all out due to knee issues. Additionally, Sam Johnstone and Jorgen Strand Larsen both have knocks but should recover in time for the visit of Palace.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Crystal Palace: 4-2-3-1: Henderson, Richards, Lacroix, Guehi, Mitchell, Lerma, Hughes, Munoz, Kamada, Sarr, Mateta

  2. Wolverhampton Wanderers: 3-4-2-1: Sa, Doherty, Dawson, Bueno, Semedo, Andre, Gomes, Ait-Nouri, Cunha, Guedes, Larsen

  1. Anytime Goal Scorer (Matheus Cunha): Back the Brazilian to add to his 15 goals this season. (Forecast odds: 3/1)

  2. Over 3.5 Goals (Yes): As mentioned earlier, the reverse fixture saw four goals and it is likely there is a goal fest at Selhurst Park. (12/5 with 1Win)

Prediction: Draw and Both Teams to Score

There is very little to separate these two sides, as was the case earlier in the season. With the campaign drawing to a close, and both teams safe from danger, plus Palace focused on the FA Cup, expect these sides to cancel each other out on Tuesday evening.
