Everton Current Form – LDWLL

Everton have been holistically impressive this season, but they are incredibly reliant on specific players in particular areas of the field. They have been hit with a few unfortunate injuries, but with that being said, they remain committed to their approach and system under David Moyes.

They have become a team who just don’t go away and more often than not are able to come away with something from a fixture. They will like their chances here and expect to come away with all three points.

Key Players to Watch

  • Beto: Moyes has been incredible for the Beto in the Premier League. His form and recent performances remain a crucial aspect for the success of Everton and in truth, he is likely their best option up front.
  • Iliman Ndiaye: He is a consistent performer in the league and his attacking threat has been vital for the Toffees this season. The reality is that in the league you have to score goals if you want to give yourself a fighting chance and that is exactly what Ndiaye has done for Everton.
  • Idrissa Gana Gueye: The physical presence of Gueye in the midfield has been dominant for Everton. He is another player who disrupts opposing play, but he allows Everton to regain possession high up on the field and immediately put pressure in the final third.

Everton Team News

Dominic Calvert-Lewin continues to struggle with a hamstring strain, but the addition of James Tarkowski to the injury list has caused the Toffees some concern at the back. Jesper Lindstrom is out with a hernia and Orel Mangala is also sidelined with a knee injury.

Ipswich Town Current Form – WLDLL

Ipswich Town have been relegated. The maximum number of points they are able to secure is now 33 – three less than the current West Ham tally. We have said it before and we will say it again, Ipswich have played awesome football at times but just failed to reflect this on the league table.

There is an argument to be made that they (Ipswich) adopted an aggressive approach this season, but without the players to see this through, they haven’t managed to secure the necessary points. They have arguably one of the best finishers in the league this season, but their defensive record leaves a lot to be desired.

Key Players to Watch

  • Liam Delap: There has been a lot made of Liam Delap throughout this season. He is the leading scorer for Ipswich and has at times scored for fun in the Premier League. It is no surprise that he has attracted a lot of attention from top clubs around Europe – with Manchester United leading the charge at this point. He will no doubt want to finish the season on the front foot.
  • Omari Hutchinson: Hutchinson has contributed both offensively and defensively for Ipswich this season. His versatility and creativity through their midfield has been a constant, but more so he has seemingly become a player who adds to the creation of a defensive platform from which they can launch an attack.
  • Sam Morsy: For many Tractor Boys fans, Morsy has become the heartbeat of this Ipswich team. He is a gritty player who certainly provides the team with leadership – but also contributes to the team via his work rate and determination. He will always be one to keep an eye on.

Ipswich Team News

Leif Davis continues to serve his discipline suspension, but they are also without Wes Brown and Jaden Philogene who are sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury.

Predicted Line-Up

  1. Everton: 4-2-3-1

Pickford, Mykolenko, Branthwaite, O’Brien, Patterson, Gueye, Garner, Ndiaye, Doucoure, Harrison, Beto.

  2. Ipswich: 4-2-3-1

Palmer, Greaves, Burgess, Woolfenden, O’Shea, Taylor, Morsy, Clarke, Enciso, Johnson, Delap.

Suggested Bets

  1. Everton Win: Everton are in such a good space at the moment, and given their defensive stability and offensive threat, we think they claim all three points here. 6/10 (1.6) with BetWinner

  2. Over 2.5 Goals:  Six of the last eight league games with Everton at home have seen Over 2.5 Goals scored. This won’t be too much different – especially with the attacking threats on both teams. 9/10 (1.9) with Stake

  3. Both Teams to Score: Another consideration is certainly Both Teams to Score. We have already mentioned the attacking threats these two teams have, and at 19/20, there is enough value in this betting strategy. 19/20, (1.95) with Stake.

Given the strong odds provided, especially by Stake, our Stake review offers further insight into the platform’s features and betting experience.

Value Bets

For bettors wanting to maximize their value, consider these betting strategies.

  1. Everton/Draw + Over 2.5 Goals: To combine the goalscoring attributes and Everton coming away with something that offers enough value for bettors. Get on at 12/10 (2.2) with Betway

  2. Everton/Draw + Both Teams to Score: Another betting angle to consider is replacing the totals markets with both teams scoring. We can’t see past Everton coming away with points and adding goals to the mix only adds value. 5/4 (2.25) with 1xBet

  3. Liam Delap Anytime Goalscorer: In what is becoming the proverbial ‘set-bet’, Liam Delap finding the back of the net is almost a guarantee when Ipswich plays. 3/1 (4.0) with Pinnacle

Prediction: Everton to Win

We can’t see past an Everton win here. They are so difficult to break down and yet also pose a very real attacking threat. The Toffees will expect to come away with all three points on offer here and given that they are playing at Goodison Park will only add to their confidence.
