Considering that both sides changed managers during the season, both Ruben Amorim and Graham Potter will expect a change in fortunes as we close up the 2024/25 season.

The Red Devils are winless over their previous five games, and Amorim’s side has been very poor in that period. They have drawn twice and lost the other three of those five games.

Key Players to watch
- Bruno Fernandes: In a struggling United outfit, Fernandes has eight goals and nine assists in his 29 Premier League games this season, a testament to how good the Portuguese player is.
- Amad Diallo: The Ivorian has just returned from injury, which should be a great relief for the Old Trafford faithful. Diallo has bagged double figures for goals and assists and is a key player in the attack for United.
- Noussair Mazraoui: The 27-year-old has been brilliant in his debut season for the team from Manchester. The Moroccan is a reliable figure at the back and has become a fan favourite at the club.
Manchester United Team News
Lisandro Martinez has a knee injury, and Diogo Dalot is suffering from a calf problem. Toby Collyer (leg) and Joshua Zirkzee (hamstring) will also miss the visit of West Ham. Additionally, Ayden Heaven has a leg problem and is ruled out of the clash.
West Ham Current Form – LDLDL
Potter’s side has been very poor this campaign. After taking over from Julien Lopetegui, the Englishman has failed to turn the form around in West London. The Hammers are winless in their previous five games and have drawn twice while losing the other three games.

Key Players to watch
- Mohamed Kudus: The Ghanaian is one of the most exciting players to watch in the Premier League. He breezes past defenders and is very technically gifted.
- James Ward-Prowse: After returning from injury, Ward-Prowse has been his ever-reliant self. The midfielder has one of the best deliveries in the division from his right foot.
- Jarrod Bowen: The England international has been the Irons’ best creative attacker this campaign. Bowen has nine goals and seven assists in 30 Premier League games.
West Ham United Team News
Michail Antonio has a leg injury and Crysencio Summerville is out with a muscle issue. Edson Alvarez has a back issue, but other than that, Potter will have a fully fit squad to choose from for the trip to Old Trafford.
Predicted Line-Ups
Manchester United (3-4-3): Onana, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Yoro, Evans, Ugarte, Fernandes, Zirkzee, Eriksen, Hojlund

Suggested Bets
For those considering where to place their bets, we've highlighted some of the most reliable bookmakers and suggested bets below:
Double Chance (Draw or United): It is difficult to see the home side losing, even though they have been poor, they should get something from this game. (27/100 with Betway)
Over 2.5 Goals: This fixture has produced goals in recent encounters and with how leaky both defences have been, there should be goals at Old Trafford. (19/25 with Stake)

Value Bets
Football betting offers some compelling value here, with these picks based on current form and match dynamics that suggest potential opportunities.
Over 3.5 Goals: As mentioned earlier, these sides are not well-drilled defensively so expect goals on Sunday. (37/20 with Betway)
Bruno Fernandes Anytime Goal Scorer: The Portuguese has been excellent all season and has most recently found a purple patch of form. Back Fernandes to score against West Ham. (Forecast odds: 4/1)
Prediction: Draw and Both Teams to Score
As the table suggests, both sides have been very poor in the Premier League this season, and it is difficult to pick a winner here. With the season winding down, and the home side having one eye on the Europa League, the Hammers might be able to get something from the clash. Back the draw and both teams to score at Old Trafford.
