Eddie Howe’s side has won three of their last five games in the Premier League, losing and drawing the other two games respectively. They have been solid this season and look likely to make it into next season’s Champions League.

Key Players to Watch

  • Sandro Tonali
The Italian does not stop running and is the engine room of this Newcastle side. Tonali is a key part of Howe’s side.
  • Bruno Guimaraes
The 27-year-old is a defensive midfielder but has been contributing going forward as well. The Brazilian has 11 goals and assists in his 36 Premier League games this season.
  • Alexander Isak
The Swede has become one of the most touted strikers in the world. Isak has 23 goals and six assists and the 25-year-old is always a danger to opposition defenders.

Newcastle United Team News

The home side will be without Joelinton and Joe Willock, who are nursing knee injuries, while Lewis Hall has a foot problem and Kieran Trippier has a calf issue. Additionally, Sven Botman (Knock) and Matt Target (hamstring) are also unavailable for Howe’s side.

Moyes has steadied the ship after returning to Merseyside. It was a poor start to the season but the results under the Scottish manager have been solid. They have won just once in their previous five games so they'll want to put in a good performance on Tyneside so they can end the season well.

Key Players to watch

  • Vitalii Mykolenko
An ever-present figure in Everton’s backline, the Ukrainian is one of the best defensive fullbacks in the league and will be key in the final game of the season.
  • Beto
The Guinea-Bissau international has been leading as back-up to Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The tall, lanky forward knits play together well and is a great target man for Everton’s long-ball threat.
  • Abdoulaye Doucoure
The Frenchman does not stop running and is a key part of the Everton midfield. Doucoure has three goal contributions this season and has been vital in big games for his side.

Everton Team News

Orel Mangala and Jake O’Brien are both out with knee injuries, while Jesper Lindstrom has a groin injury and James Tarkowski will also miss the trip to face Everton with a hamstring strain.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Newcastle United: 4-3-3: Dubravka, Longstaff, Schar, Burn, Livramento, Tonali, Guimaraes, Barnes, Murphy, Isak, Gordon

  2. Everton: 4-4-1-1: Pickford, Young, Keane, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Garner, Gueye, Harrison, Doucoure, Alcaraz, Beto
