Nottingham Forest: Current Form LLLWL

Forest have recently changed managers once again, and so they will be hoping that their form and success rate begin to improve with Sean Dyche at the helm. So far this season, they have struggled and now find themselves toward the bottom of the Premier League table. Sean Dyche is now at the helm, though, and if there is a coach capable of enduring the struggles of seeing a time rise from the proverbial ashes, it is him. It will be interesting to see how they do, but this weekend will be a big game for them.

Nottingham Forest – Key Players to Watch

  • Morgan Gibbs-White
He is, without a shadow of a doubt, their most creative attacking option. He will need to impose himself here and get them going forward, but his ability to see Forest onto the front foot will likely be a handful for their opponents once again.
  • Chris Wood
He is an incredibly experienced striker and able to turn the game on its head in a moment. With that being said, when service is limited, his need to convert almost every chance becomes somewhat vital.
  • Murillo
While he hasn’t necessarily hit the heights of last season, there is no questioning that his movement and physicality add a certain grittiness to their defensive structures. He will certainly be one to watch during this game.

Nottingham Forest Team News

Not only have they struggled to get off to a flyer this season, but their woes have also been underpinned by various injuries to their current squad. Sean Dyche will be without Ola Aina while he nurses his hamstring injury, Angus Gunn is out with a knee injury, and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who suffered a groin injury.

Leeds United: Current Form WDLLW

Leeds have also not had the smoothest of starts in the Premier League this year. From their last nine meetings, they have just managed to see themselves move past 9 points, but the supposed benefit for Leeds lies in the fact that their performances have been incredibly impressive.

While their home form is slightly better than what they have managed to produce on the road, they will likely take the game to Forrest and hope to find a degree of consistency at the City Ground.

Leeds – Key Players to Watch

  • Brenden Aaronson
Aaronson has shown that he is a creative force for Leeds through the midfield, and his ability to maintain a link between their attacking play and defensive responsibility is likely to once again be an incredibly important aspect for their chance at success.
  • Noah Okafor
Okafor is a player with an eye for goal and an incredible ability to disrupt opposing defensive structures. He continues to create chances in key moments and is certainly a player to keep your eye on.
  • Joe Rodon
He will likely have a big role to play here. Playing away from home, Leeds will know that defensive solidity will be required if they are to come away with a positive result. Rodon is a player they will look to step up, but he is, without question, a player capable of registering a big performance.

Leeds United Team News

The biggest threat to any success at Leeds has been their inability to find consistency. Coming into this fixture, they don’t have any major injuries to threaten their team selection, but Harry Gray remains a doubt with a hip injury, and Wilfred Gnonto is sidelined with a groin injury.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Nottingham Forest
Sels, Savona, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams, Anderson, Luiz, Ndoye, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Jesus.

  2. Leeds
Perri, Gudmundsson, Bijol, Rodon, Bogle, Tanaka, Ampadu, Longstaff, Okafor, Calvert-Lewin, Aaronson.

Suggested Bets

  1. Both Teams to Score (BTTS): Leeds continues to show defensive vulnerabilities. Forest will no doubt be desperate for goals at home, and so the market for both teams to score looks really attractive. 8/10 with BetWinner.

  2. Over 2.5 Goals: The head-to-head and both teams’ recent matches suggest goals are likely. This is another betting angle that accommodates goals. 19/20 with N1Bet.

  3. Nottingham Forest United to Win or Draw (Double Chance): Given Forest’s form and recent performances under Sean Dyche, backing Forest in the Double Chance market offers a reasonable risk and return ratio. 4/10 with Betway.

Value Bets

Before backing these individual player markets with excellent value, new bettors should claim a welcome bonus to boost their potential winnings

  1. Aaronson to Score Anytime: Given his creativity and attacking ability, he could be quite lively in front of goals for Leeds. 28/10 with Pin Up.

  2. Gibbs-White to Score Anytime: Given the incredible value around the individual markets, Morgan Gibbs-White has become their focal point in attack, and so we could benefit from a moment of quality. 19/10 with Betway.

  3. First Team to Score Leeds United: If Leeds start sharper and take the initiative, they could strike first and force Forest into chasing. 5/4 with Pinnacle.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest Win/Draw Double Chance and Both Teams to Score

The hosts will surely push for a result in front of their home fans. Leeds have enough ability and talent to ask questions of their defensive structure, but in and amidst this closely contested Premier League fixture, the hosts have enough quality going forward to come away with something from this game.
