Wolves vs Aston Villa Preview: Odds, Tips and Prediction

With just the one win from their last five results, the pressure is steadily building for Wolves. Their manager, Vitor Pereira, began really well when he first joined the club but that now seems like a distant memory. 

You have got to feel for him a little bit, the media is unrelenting – especially after he had a bit of a go with Matheus Cunha for his perceived poor body language – but the pressure is starting to look as though it is taking its toll. 

Wolves have not got an easy run by any stretch of imagination, but they are a competitive team at home and you get the feeling that if they manage to register one positive performance, they will kick on from there.

Our Aston Villa prediction is pretty straightforward. They are eighth in the league at the moment and still competitive in the Champions League. If you could have that at the beginning of the season as a Villa fan you would possibly take it without even giving it a second thought!

There have been rumblings of frustration between Jhon Duran and Ollie Watkins, which could be cause for concern. They don’t seem to be playing well together, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that these are two exceptional attacking options for Aston Villa.
